				 | Thanks to all the Plugfest 2009 organizers, setup and clean-up crews. You put on the best plugbuilding surfishing gathering every year through hell or high mud you get it done and set up for us Plugnuts to see everyone we converse with here at S-B.com.
Thanks John R., Slipknot, CC Mike and family, all who did the how-to's and brought great plug stuff like #^^^^^^^^^^^& and M&D Tackle.
Nice to see Vineyardblues,Tom,Tagger,Dmac,BS4shore,Fishon8,Big fishLarry,Vic,Tobias and Prof.Moriarty.That is one awesome Fly Vice that the Prof. built and VB sold tickets for, that I'm gonna win.
Special thanks to Flaptail,Numbskull,Saltydog and of course Slipknot for the great display case. A true master woodworker, plugbuilder and all-around good guy.
PatrickD and NIB for making the drive up and back go much quicker with the laughs and gaffs.
Anyone else I forgot to mention,or didn't meet this time. We need name tags
And thanks to all the members here and the kids who are the next generation of Striper surfishing enthusiasts.
p.s. ...and great to see EastEndLu make the trip. He travels far too.

in Fact the CIA has a special Plug Division for monitoring these
hardcore types and just finished interviewing me trying to get
back ground info on this guy... as he might be dangerous.
they left me their card just in case i remember anything else.

				 | To funny, for thoose that didn't know the magnet was an attempt to keep the belly hook from causing diggers/scratches while casting.....but if you looked there is a scratch that was caused by the one fish I did catch with it. Someone (sorry my memory fails me) outside gave me a simple and yet easier solution....a rubber band . I look foward to meeting all of you talented folks again and do hope there will be name tags (thanks raven yours worked). |

				 | Thanks to all who organized this epic event. Great way to get more of fix on the addiction. Thanks to Numbskull for his tutatorial on needle swimming and the Blood red darter, Z for the trombone lesson and PNG on the offset turning demo. We had 12 members from CSA attend , many who were first timers. They were impressed for sure. Woody took the restoration award. First Plugfest event. Next year's will definately be crowded. Somewhat like they said in JAWS, "We need a bigger hall"!! |

				 | for such a small room i missed a lot. I got hemmed in most of the time, but still had a ball. I missed the plug turning by Chris , again. Going to have to have a private lesson one of these days. Didn't even realize Karl was a no show till after the fact, missed the wood guy , missed most of the food, missed the plug loading but did get one off Dave. Need to have name tags again. I am sure I met lots of people who I have no idea of their names, still. |

Larry i guess im not a lurker anymore. After a year of mistakes I may find something too offer. And mostly to all the great plug builders that share their talents to us new guys. Didn't know what to expect, will next year. Because of you Rockfish i have two things that consume my life, the pursuit of the stripes and turning for that pursuit! Should have never watched that HOW TO pictorial, and i thought i was going to save money! Thanks again. hope i didn't step on too many toes. Oh ya also thanks for any votes i got for the squidster. My first creation! Happy Trails |
