Ocean Run Stripers - Anyone Gone Yet?
Has anyone gone fishing yet, or has anyone seen anyone fishing at any of the usual (RI) spring spots?
I know about Providence River holdovers.
I'm not iterested if you caught anything or not, just if you've gone.
Thanks -
Joe

water has about 8 more degrees to go. you will catch 1 or 2 on the beaches, but they will not have the dark stripes of the sea runs.

put them back alive. i do have grandkids.
as your hair gets whiter, your gear gets lighter.

Fished Saturday and caught 15 fish, with a couple over 10lbs, but if the last couple times out a a snapshot of this season, it's going to be slow fishing. On a day like Saturday say 4 years back, I'd have had to stop fishing due to my thumb bleeding and my arms aching, the winter holders in this spot are a small percentage of years back.

I was thinking about doing a story about people that can't wait to fish even if they are too early.
