It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Stopped by Friday early for a few hours. That was a great show! I wish I could have stayed longer. IMO it was probably the best RISAA shows to date. Lot's of great stuff. (yeah and the sun glass babe was pretty cute too)
A couple of really nice booths with lots of goodies.
Did you see: - the prototype Squid from sluggo (WHoa!!!) He said it has no name yet but should be on the shelfs in a couple months.
- Bliz's collection of lures that were wayyyyy to nice to put in the water, they look like museum pieces
- nice rubber with kick ass jig heads from Alan H. loaded my bag.
- I am ordering one of those charts with the lights...way cool
- how about that SWEET 24' CC Dion? I think the name was, I didn't get a price but it looked like a little Buddy Davis.
- Saw a well-tanned Tony O in prep for his upcoming trip south. Good luck!
- I picked up a couple of the rather expensive Sebile lures...looked so good I have to try them.
- Some great deals on tuna gear
too much to list...great show RISAA!

Yes. Both of them.
Personally the show was much better than last year. No mortgage originators bugging you when you walked by. The Dion that Mr. Sandman pointed out was my favorite. Hard not to like the boat. It can take a lot of water with that high bow.

I went this morning with my son, early on it was quiet so we could see everything. It was cool introducing him to the OTW guys who he sees on TV and Mike Laptew, who my son loves the DVDs. Our annual tradition is to buy him some type of rubber lure body, past year it was squid, this year a few big rubber eels. I bs'ed with a few guys including Jonas and a few charter captains, Jim White and Joe Pagano. Those ligted charts were awesome as were some photgraphers close ups of bass feeding. They pics were $99, too much for me.
I picked up some of the pearl 9" gotstryper rubber to use for bass. I had a good time and went with $60 in my pocket and kept to my budget, never broke out the credit card.
Great way to spend a Saturday morning
