Anyone see the episode where the guys had to go into the nets to let the sharks out?

I caught the last half of the show. They were BIG nets and the amount of fish in them is huge. The average weight/fish was 40 kg or about 88#...there were a lot of fish, they estimated $10mil at the retail level I think.

Seems like comm fishing is getting too efficient.

It was cool to see them all schooling around in there though.

Other then glorifying what is considered by many a giant threat to the fishery it's a lot of fun to watch.

that was my impression as well...

that between the aerial spotting ,the baiting boat and the catch boat
not to mention the floating pens it was all way to efficient
all in the name of providing Sushi...
