Good Riddance

Glad the crowds went north and let me have a breachway all to myself for the bottom of the ebb this AM. Well, except for the short striped things that kept beating and eating my minner.

I still stand by the position that posts like this contribute to the canal being plagued by Urban Warriors, with no sense of etiquette and no respect for the fishermen around them. Not to mention are a lot of the idiots who's Dunkin cups, stripped line and other garbage I end up picking up after they leave their trash behind.
best post i've read about the issue from any of the fishing sites.

I am sick of every post becomming a spot burn debate.

At this point in the season, if you are fishing where you should be, and when, the crowds are very minimal.

I had this conversation the other day with someone from the site, I really doubt a post here or there really contributes all that much to the early morning canal congestion. Look at the old time photos from the 70's of people live-lining herring on the banks of the canal. There where men shoulder to shoulder for 3 miles - on both sides. Internet didn't even exist then.

Somebody just back of you while you are fishing is as bad as someone looking over your shoulder while you write a letter to your girl. ~Ernest Hemingway
