To qualify I would like you to post a picture be it with your Dad, your Son's or Daughter's, if for some reason maybe your Dad was not present and there was another "guiding force" in your life such as a GrandFather or an Uncle......lets have some fun with this thread in honor of all of the Dad's out there who may still be with us or who may have passed! Pics fishing is a plus but not necessary! Lets see your "Dad" pics! I will choose a winner Sunday evening!! Happy Father's Day guys!

My Dad!
These pics were taken I think about 1968? I was about 5 or 6 and my Dad's company (Hood's Milk) was featuring him in their newsletter and they sent a photographer out to take some pics! I am quite lucky we were given the original 8 by 10 photos which I have and I cherish for obvious reasons!
Pic 1: We were a swimming family and my Dad was a great swimmer, won many awards in his day, is in the "L" Street Hall of Fame in Southie, gave much of his time to the Boys Clubs of Boston for many years when he was young! Also coached Men's swim teams at Tuft's University and Brandies! Here is a pic of my Dad strapping on my new swim fins!!
Pic 2: Watching my Dad make a shot on our old basement pool table!
Pic 3: Me with my Dad and my Mom! Who do you think was "Dad's shadow"?

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole

Teaching early the principles that is not size that matters and that fishing is a equal opportunity sport. My daughter lands a sunny.

Posted this one before. This is dad from a while back. He can't really do it anymore. I sure do miss fishing with him.

Working to make an angler out of her though ... we probably will be fishing in my parent's back yard this Father's Day - get her to catch a small largemouth.
Thanks for the opportunity Larry.
Cheers,
Andy

Here is my Dad and I quite a long time ago...

Me and Pop (like my 2nd father...RIP) quite a long time ago...

And my first deer in '97...we tagged out a day apart with nearly identical twins (only mine was 4 lbs bigger!)

my son Aidyn and my his great grand dad
This was my grandfather with my son two years ago. My grandfather passed several months after this picture.
The second picture is my son with his first fish. A nice Western Mass. brookie. The same river I caught my first trout as a young lad.

Here's my future fisherman. He absolutely LOVES the water as I'm sure you can tell by his expression.
Pictures were very limited while I was growing up, although my dad was my tutor from a very early age,,, he was not a fan of the camera. Not infront of it, nor behind it...
However, I plan on taking as many pictures as possible so that my son can look back years from now and have the photographs rejuvenate his memory.....
Thanks for the chance to win Bigfish....Thanks PERIOD!

As I said my Dad won many swimming competitions in his day! We still have his awards/trophies and they number well over 50....some heavy duty hardware too! Swimming was always my Dad's thing but we have "the water" in common! He swam always, competitive diving, he was also a "Frogman" in the US Navy!
