Beautiful Weekend

Hit my favorite spot and anchored in 10 feet of water and caught a 30# and a smaller 16# in about 4 hours. I kept the one and let the other one grow a lil bit more. Was only 2 boats in area and soon after I caught the 30, I was surrounded by about 15 boats. Only most of them stayed back in deeper water, not knowing where the rocks are....... so it was a nice day... maybe soon I'll be weighing one in..... fingers crossed...

I think I know the rocks in that area well enough to attempt a night run this later in the week....

Imagine, you get them in the daytime, think of what monsters lurk there at night.

Out of the 8 keepers I landed Saturday night, the biggest one got away, it looked like a seal in the light before it swam off and I had my drag too tight and "ping", the heartbreaker. I let almost all the fish go and would have let that one go anyway, but not until after a pic, pic and release.
