Did you throw an eel?

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Put Flap in one of his spots, give him a needle, and you don't want to be fishing next to him no matter what you're throwing. At least he didn't drop another 40 on me. Close though.

You gotta keep changing lures after each fish. Those two fish came on consecutive nights. The calm water fish took the smallest size white SuperStrike needle and the rough water fish took a large black SuperStrike but the next fish after each of those came by going to something completely different. It getting so that I am changing automatically after landing a fish, it's been working. I mean, they maust get used to seeing certain style plugs going by them. Everyone was throwing the same thing it seemed, so I went to the opposite end of the spectrum color and size wise and whammo, I would be on.

My shoulder is killing me though, carrying a large plug bag stuffed with way too many plugs can be a pain in the ass.

Why even try.........

I agree that is the case sometimes, especially in places where a lot of guys are casting in the same general area and the fish are milling about.

I am way to familiar with the heavy plugbag

Seeing you've been standing in the exact same spot for three weeks, its easy to believe... Talk about a one trick pony...

Nice going Flap, good to see someone catching them.

Paul, I am 0 for 3 and I'm driving 158 miles round trip everytime. I was there this morning before the turn and fished thru the "breaking tides" for zilch!

Wish I did too.
I did get two fish, although they were just barely longer than the 24" eel I was throwing.

I drove down this morning late, probably after most of you left, around 9 , just to take a look and get some line. Drove from end to end in truck. I did not make a cast. Going to blow pretty good from northerly directions all week and friggin cold too. If that doesn't get them moving and with moon hiding more every nite I have no idea what will. Maybe Mike is right, its winding down. Maybe time to start hitting the southern CC beaches with eels hoping for a big one. This time frame and next weeks outgoing tides has been good to me before.

So THAT is what you are always doing with your f*#@@&^g light! I just assumed it was because you had trouble picking your nose in the dark.

I never pick my nose at night, especially after scratching my ass.

And the other night it was because I was the only one catching anything, cast after cast. Your the one who put the darter bug in my ear, was that because you were trying to trick me away from my needles?

U f()cked up again didn't u? Those darters really work!

Why even try.........

I agree. Can you get my wife to understand that?

Monday nite window

Last monday nite's window gave me
and my bro a chance to take a couple SB
on eels. With south wind we were able
to get the local B&T eels (not the 24"
others can buy) out into strike zone.
Tuesday, wind moved to N and will kill
any more effort by me. If anyone has
big eels and can get me to a non-rocky
beach this weekend I will be happy to
show them how it is done.

No jokes please!!
