"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Of course the "#*&#$#" = FISH!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Karl, considering the fish bender I've been on for the last 2 weeks, I'd better show up with a friggin' Cadillac...

In fact, I'm tying blackfish rigs tonight, Mike....
Today, it was just reasonably good to be alive...
Locally speking, this time of year it's pretty much here today, gone later today...
I actually did do the right thing today and got up early to spend some quality time with the missus over morning coffee
However tomorrow AM I'll probably be knocking back coffee with the Rusty Zipper Club out on the Drive while we spin some ripping good yarns and keep an eye on the surf...

"Rusty Zipper Club" eh?....I often see the same 3 gentlemen in separate vehicles ...almost tailgating each other around that "Drive" of yours....I'm not much for chatter when on the rocks although I have spoken with them on several occasions.....they've caught me at my truck and asked the sacrilegious question....."Did ya get anything?"....
With MA plates, I don't get much further than that.....as they drive off slowly leaving me the evil eye, as if I were lying....
|
... it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I doubt it was one of the geezers I hang with, Gilly - for the most part we're old, grumpy and real thin on social skills...
