Thoughts and Payers for my wife.

I’ve just been through one of the most challenge weeks of my life. My wife Donna had a ‘routine’ sinus surgery a week ago which quickly progressed into orbital cellulitis requiring hospitalization, eye surgery and several days of trying to find the right antibiotic to deal with the Staphylococcus aureus. If that wasn’t enough, a CAT scan revealed what appeared to be orbital thrombosis. She has been through hell; going into surgery and not knowing if she would lose sight in her eye or worse, and then being told she may have a life threatening blood clot in a very precarious location. Fortunately the head of neurology determined it wasn’t a thrombosis and she is starting to regain her sight, She is still in acute pain but happy to be on the mend. Meanwhile, I wound up contracting swine flu three days ago, so did my son-in-law, and my daughter came down with symptoms last night and is now off to the doctors as she feels like she is on the verge of bronchitis. When it rains it pours.

For the cold/flu try loads of raw garlic it's like a natural antibiotic, I crush a clove and inhale the vapors when I have sinus problems (pos. infection) and then put the crushed clove in a small amount of water and take it like a shot of whiskey; seems to work for me. It also helps others avoid getting sick because they avoid getting to close.

did the same thing

i peeled and chopped a half of a bulb of garlic
and cooked it slowly in butter in the wok
then made garlic mashed potatoes two
days in a row... no illness happened

the only drawback is the Oder from cooking it
or from breathing....on someone

yep EZ ........ the natural antibiotic

4 hundred years ago Garlic was called
"the four thieves" because four men were robbing the dead
each wearing a necklace of stringed garlic
which basically repelled the fleas carrying the bubonic plague

and that's where it got its anti- Dracula reputation

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Heal up Fast Mike and best wishes
for your wife's speedy recovery
