Who's going to Flap's Wake?

I was planning to go, but just got word that I may have to be present with my mother, as we're closing on a unit for her in a retirement community.....So I'm 50-50 presently. If there were a group of us I was hoping to wet a line in tribute too... I can't make the funeral on Saturday. (Pouring a seawall footing around the tide...)

I hope to make it, but as with today and tomorrow, friday is a half day for the kids.Parent teacher conferences used to be exclusively a night time deal but not anymore. If I can get coverage I will go and pay my respects to his family and friends. Steve and I weren't exactly close but I certainly respect him as a first class ambassadeur of the sport, and more importantly his dedication to his family.I did get a report today of fish busting at the east end. I can't think of a better shout out to Flap than trying to fool a bass one final time this season.

Nice to see such a showing of support for Steve's family
As Clammer says it really helps.

Bassmaster, sorry I couldn't wait for you any longer, good that you went too.

RIP Steve

Steve was very proud of his family, I am thankful I could meet them and tell them that (which they certainly already knew).

I sent flowers on behalf of his us, fishing friends, and the fishing community at large (though I did not see them I really wasn't looking too hard)
