Microwave drying

Wood. Red cedar to be precise. Anyone try it? Results? How long? I have a special project in mind and only this particular piece of wood will do. It was cut two months ago.

the key in nuking it is not to get the wood hot so it cracks....put it on 30-50 % for 3-5 min's at a time, just enough to turn the water into a fine fog..you'll see it in the micro when she starts to fire off.
