So Whats On Your Agenda?

What types of plugs are you planning on building this winter??? Will you have them on display at PlugFest!

Another builder (who shall remain nameless) came by yesterday and was kind enough to gift to me his copy of an original Floyd Roman Nike......so I have the bug to turn some of those! The curves of that plug have always tickled my tastebuds! I will also be focusing on some smaller offerings for my bag to use both in freshwater and from my kayak!

So what are you brainstorming for the winter building season???

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

But, like you Bruce, no agenda here..more than enuf of them already...

I am hoping to spend some time in the shop, after I dig my way towards it, this winter, conrads, pikies, surfsters, are on my list as well as a some of the stuff I have done before..... If time allows, I may re-visit darter hell () for a bit... if i wanna make myself crazier that is...

more of the same ... need needles... old friends 9" blue/white and small 6" olive... More pencil poppers ,especially knockoff a 5.25" 80's factory loaded cordell wich ruled the rivers this spring.. More work of an eely type danny I been playing with... It caught a couple of fish in the canal .. would like to try mahogony eely ... Also a gibbs type profile ,,darter (black) with single belly hook ,for BI... Have one I made a couple of years ago seems pretty good .. I have a real Atom Jr. I'd like to knock off and weight it to 2 3/4 ounces like the Franky D daul 50's one .. I'd like to make an oray of needles with snout's like Spofford and pointy arse like Norris .. And 1 Flaptail ... I didn't forget you Ray ... fear not ..

I'm going to mess around with some different woods and I like the donny shaped swimmers a lot so I'm going to play with that shape a bit and see what I can do with it.

I turned one nike shaped plug last year and never got it finished so I'll probably go back down that road. I think theres a lot to learn there and I have a few things I want to try with that shape.

Other than that, probably just some long distance casting topwater for the canal. If I get to it I'd like to experiment with some eelskin stuff too.
