Just started @ 9:15 22sec in West Wareham now 10:25 pm 1/4 "
on the ground. Lets git it over with this week , but I got a feeling were due just look at our year past. Let it snow let it snow let it snow

Wow, there's a good 6" on the table on my deck, about the same over the ice on my pond.

I have 4" now so fast @ 11:52 pm the key board is getting blurry

Hitting 18" in Newport is gonna be easy...
I woke up at 6 AM and opened the front door while my 1st cup of starter fluid was brewing...saw some guy walking down Thames St in near white out conditions, the poor SOB looked like Shackleton leaning into the teeth of a gale... 
Won't be able to open the back door to let the dogs out until I walk around the building to shovel it out after I finish my coffee... 
I'd have to say we've got an honest 14-15" by now if not more judging by the snow on top of my wife's Jeep out front - with drifts pretty much bunghole deep to a 10 foot Indian... 
Winds are a steady 30 MPH - Ch 12 said gusts of 50 were clocked here during the night

I would say we have 5 to six inches. The wind is blowing hard, and there are drifts over two feet in many places.

My driveway is looking pretty intimidating right now.Don't exactly know how much but when I shoveled the steps and a spot for the dogs the snow was right up to my knees.
Took my aleve and glucosamine/chondroiton.I guess its time.

Man, it's cold out there...this isn't going to be fun digging the cars out.
Supposed to still snow for another few hours.

Buried in gansett! Looks about foot and a half of snow. Couldnt open any of the doors, wifes car is buried in a drift. Looks to be about 2 ft on the roads. My parents in portsmouth said the plow truck is stuck on their street! Heh. Dog had a hell of a time bustin a leak in neck deep snow. Then i noticed it was bloody red! How am i gonna drive the dog to the vet in this? Then the makers haze cleared and i remembered i had fed the dog a bunch of beet skins last night. |

Maybe all the plow trucks are stuck in Middletown too. I can see what appears to be evidence they came through early in the storm but nothing since.
Be safe today everyone, I don't think any emergency situation can be addressed very easily until they get the roads cleared a bit. |
