Food will be me and Mikey. I'll start up the food thread later in the week. Been playing catchup from the nasty flu that I had before and after the SABBIT!

Rick,
Take care of yourself. 99% of
flu caught by kissing other people
(or fish taken only minutes before
from a hole in the ice). Which was
it.

Sounds good. ! If you are new here , This is a great time. everybody brings some food and we end up with a feast. The raffle is very welll stocked and most go home with more value than they spent on tickets. Some go home with big prizes . There is a cash bar and the drinks are low priced like a neighborhood bar.
Some people reserve a room for the night at the Holiday Inn next door in case they get drunk or horny during the event. Its a great way to meet other fisherman and there are some people there that know striper fishing well enough to answere almost any question you could conceive.
Its been held annually for several years now and always a good time.

YEEESSSSSSSAAAAAA......the treadmill is goin DOWN.
To all those that may or may not post, and the lurkers out there, as Saltheart said, this is THE fishing event of all fishing events held. Usually about 50+ people gettin together tellin war stories. Great, great time.
The event is the best in the fishing world not to be missed.
Don't be shy.

Napkins optional
Bubba has been kind enough to expand
his table these past few years to accomodate
myself and the Fabulous O'Rourke Brothers.
He buys the table for $100 but this year it
is going for $200. He is a great and generous
friend. Let's hear it for Bubba. WOOF, WOOF!!

Bob's date blew him off. So I'll be his date. He said he will be wearing his prom dress from 1981. Should be a good time.

Yep. For those that are unsure, TFCTFN is S-B's annual bash get-together at the VFW hall in Fairhaven Mass, stumbling distance (across street) from Holiday Inn. Lots of people from the site (usually around 80-100) and some of the daring significant others, come to celebrate in a time honored manner to wish away winter for a good fishing harvest. Kind of like Gladiator, with a bar.
We have some gag awards, real awards, big buffet dinner (managed by Bomba Catering) with food provided by the members, entertainment, a SWEET raffle table.
It really is a great night, a chance to meet fellow S-Bers, help support the site, and stab a dagger into the heart of 'Ol Man Winter.
Directions to the hall: 108 middle st fairhaven ma - Google Maps
Right across the street is a Holiday Inn with rumored after hour party, Olympic events, etc... Seaport Inn & Marina Hotel Fairhaven, MA - Holiday Inn Express Fairhaven - Hotels New Bedford, MA
