55 Lb striper taken at the Elizabeth Islands

My friend was on a charter out of fairhaven and one of the guys aboard took a 55 lb striper today. they took the fish while jigging a white/red parachute with pork rind.
they also took 3 other fish over 30 lbs.
Looks like the canal region tournament is going to have lots of big fish coming to the scales this week.

Wow, I guess my boat's going back in the water just in time.

That's some fish jigging. Was it on wireline? Awesome the cows are headed our way!

Wow Mikecc, thats a beauty, would love to have seen that take place, must have been awesome!!! I think we are going to see a better class of fish this year. All the fish we have seen so far have been very healthy hefty fish, even those little buggers!!!

I stopped by Mikes' shop today and it was busy and it wasn't even 5:00 yet. He showed me the picture of the fish, big gut. That's a great fish even if it was from a boat. I know I'd take it.
