Early June

Hi Guys,

I've only fished a few years(and only once last year) but I am golfing at the Cape the the first weekend in June. I'm thinking of going a day or two early and hitting a beach or two at night for some fishing.

I tried this last year and went down Thursday night and fished Seagull beach in Yarmouth..but I quit after a few hours after fighting the weeds all night.

Anybody know of a local beach a guy with 'less than average' fishing skills could wade in and catch a few? We are staying at the town & Country in Yarmouth.

thanks

Try different spots on Bass River for schoolie action during the day. That's also only about 20 minutes from the ditch where you would have a better chance at a bigger fish that time of year.

I would spend a few dollars o gas and check out the mouth of the Narrrow River in Narragansett RI...you might set a personal best.

What Mikey said. If history hold true, first week in June in the Ditch is usually killer.

No boat, back in the suds.
