Great pics, I've only fished the canal 4-5 times, its a cool spot I hope to learn more about. I did run into the guy on his bike with the radio blasting, it was @ 10pm and I was sure I heard music, suddenly this guy passed by and I just laughed out loud.

Of course you're gonna fish it more after being there for the monster I caught last fall. Maybe this year we can make a few spring trips when the weather will be above 40 degrees and there won't be 50 mph winds and frozen rain pelting us. Roys pics make it look so nice there.

at the exact same time the canal heats up in the spring, so does N. bay so I have to use the time with my expensive toy.

You can't be out on the fiberglass jetty every night. I'm taking you to one of the spots I showed you last fall that's great in the spring. Technically it's not the canal, but it's close enough. You can even bring your eels if you want.

Bruce doesn't need a seagull to get his jig across.

I was there the w-end the little tender / service trains were crossing the canal. Made me feel like my fishing isn't quite as equipment intensive as some other hobbies.
