free truck cap

I have a nice very light aluminum cap for a small bed pick up- fits tacomas S-10's etc..... Sold my truck and have no need for it any more- A nice feature with this cap is the custom teak racks on it- it will carry a canoe, a yak or what ever with no problems.

I want this thing gone and figure if its free, someone will take it.

it needs a new latch and what ever those shock looking things are called that hold the rear window up...

this is the only picture i have of it right now-

oh... its in wakefield, RI pick up only- i cant deliver, as my truck is gone..

If it will fit a Nissan Frontier I will take it.....Just need to coordinate picking it up.

that was fast

im pretty sure it will fit your truck... do a little reasearch and find out the dimensions of a tacoma vs a frontier. If its a match, I have pretty flexible hours, but will be out of town this weekend.

I'm pretty sure it will fit too....I'll check on the size though to make sure.

Maybe the following weekend I'll take a ride down if it works for you....Let me just check the schedule w/ the Boss

sounds right to me... if you have a bed liner of the PVC variety, you will need to cut 4 slots for the allowance of the 4 C clamps that hold the cap down to the lip of your bed..... Id say 2 inches wide by 3 or 4 inches up and down right at the edge of the lip. You can do that now, or do it when you grab the cap, but keep in mind that the cap is in my storage space and i dont have any tools there..

Obviously, each clamp goes on each corner of the bed

I'll bring tools.....but my liner is actually a two peice that allows clearance under the lip.....

on another note....did you get that DVD I sent you?

Do one of you have the clamps to hold the cap on? If not, I just helped a friend put a cap on his truck. He was able to pick up the clamps at a Leer dealer - something like $20 for 4 of them. They work much better than the C-Clamps he was using before.

I just use C-clamps, but I agree, truck cap clamps are probably better suited.
