Last week of april at the usual schoolie spots. Corner of a certain beach. Mostly just to BS in the parking lot more than to actually fish. First week of May start to get a little serious.

we're talking about fish right?

I'm starting to get the fever again, prob hit the sweetwater in a couple of weeks to shake the winter, then I'll catch schoolies in a rivah in my town around the second week of May

very good Rock -

I started scouting last weekend. Big changes over the winter, but it should be all over now.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.

Early May. If there's a good shad run, the fishing will be epic.

2nd week of April every day at lunch time for a half hour with my spring popper in the muddy river waiting for that 1st chase, splash or swirl. That 1st chase is better than any fish all year for me, even though they are rats without lice. That's when insomnia starts.

Looks like I'll be able to start on the water activities next week, weather permitting. After rebuilding my blown Suzuki, Atlantic reported that my steering cylinder was leaking and needed replacing. Found out Tuesday the part would ship from manufacturer and (also) be covered under warranty but would take 2 weeks to arrive, shipping out of Canada.

I just found out: I don't have to wait 2 weeks and I do have some of that "luck of the Irish". Atlantic Boat (Wareham, MA) is actually taking the steering cylinder off one of there new, for sale boats and putting on my 215 so that I should be ready-to-go next week. THANK YOU Atlantic Boat.

When do the tog start biting? Codding after 4/15.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Starting FW bass this afternoon...next 3-4 days are looking real good as the flood waters are pulling back and some key ponds are beginning to stabilize...
