Just got off the horn with rappin Mike, he says all his oys are getting stripers in the Chicopee. He went down yesterday. got a couple of jumbo shad.
I'll be out there on Sunday...Jenn, I'll pm you with the location of Mikey's "super hole."
Maybe you and the hubby can meet us there.
Later,
Rick

skunk!!! caught herring nothing else
when i left the house to go fishing i took a swing out to gooseberry. found channel 7 news truck all set up to broadcast. i took a quick walk along the beach didn't smell anything and didn't see any sign of oil on the beach or rocks. it was dark. the wind had shifted more to the south which is good for my neighborhood

I worked all weekend to catch up, so I'm headed out to fish today, but I'll be chasing those same green bass Jenn. What an off year this one for me, normally I'd have had 8 freshwater trips under my belt by now. Oh well today is going to be another dandy, albeit cooler near the cost where I'm headed, but I can wait to get back on the water.

Im catching fish some big some not so big . They have spots and some have the colors of a rainbow . I caught a 6.5 # brown last Wednesday while camping with my girls and a few 16 inchers some as small as 10 inches . looking forward to Late May/June for striped fish .
