I think I remember you.....yeah it was a ton of fun.....it would have been a lot better if all the yahoos stayed away....I was a little *&#**% at some of these guys....they really crowded me to the point of fishing actually being unenjoyable (first time in my life I said that). In fact, I left around 8:00 pm due to too many tangles with the 10 guys that were within 10 feet of me. One guy came running from the end of the jetty, parked RIGHT next to me, and then hit me in the head a few times with his retreive.

You'll always recognize me by my brown rimmed cowboy hat. I might -- repeat might -- head back there again this week, or I might just launch my boat and try to hit it from the water. I think the crowd is going to ridiculous this week. Amyway, look for the hat -- and that will be Homerun04.

Saucey,
Good to hear you did well there, I figured conditions were going to be good last evening.

I will probably take a ride out there tonight, it's going to be a nice night for a boat ride.

I'll swing by the wall and watch from a distance, don't want to crowd the shore guys.....

Great to hear that the fish are on the move!!
But this is why I gave up shore fishing!! I don't have the temperment for it. I would have grabed that guy who hit you and he would have been swiming for sure!!!!!!!!
Any who congrats on you fish!!!!!!

Hey all new to this board, been lurkin! Sorry about what happened to you out at the WW. Just my $.02 when I go out there and there's no one there I moved around, if there are others fishing I keep my distance, even if it means I'm not casting directly into whatever it is that is blitzing. I'd rather see a fellow angler make out like a bandit than to ruin their fun and I'd hope the same was true if I was into a few. I guess thats why I do most fishing at night?

You have to remember one thing about the west wall some of those guyes only fish there and don't fish again all year, like those that only do opening day for trout, they are fun to watch if they keep there distance, and its only for a couple of weeks. some times it reminds me of a boat ramp on a sunday afternoon. you know what I mean.

Boy I am glad we don't have that crowding up here in Maine! I get nervous if a guy gets within 100 ft of me. Lots of times there is less than 6 within sight and I mean 1/2mile each way. Maybe Bill B. scares them off.

I don't know, but maybe owning my own boat has made me spoiled. I had visions of a relaxing evening fishing for schoolies, under the warmth of a beautiful late April evening, and it kinda turned into a free-for-all.....oh well, I'll chalk it up to a great experience and a funny memory.......

That wall starts to look like a porqupine when all the rods get crowded together. Soon everyone will spread out.
