A little project I have been working on...
Well, since the cat is out of the bag... Here is a project i have been working on. I was worried that someone would copy what I have been doing and it only took a week or 2 And to the person who I told in confidence.... allow me to outstretch my middle finger.
so.. here it is.. and its only late april. By fall, this will be full blown fish porn like you have never seen before...

Looks like the camera is attached to the line? It is very vertigoish at times but cool when you can make out what's happening.
Good luck with it.

Interesting that you say that... my goal here is not to make your normal fishing video.. I am an artist and this project is going to be conceptual. My goal certainly is not about making a documentary like what Fisheye (Laptew) does and I hope he is welcoming of this.

Keep working, you are really on to something......besides fish! I liked it.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

When did trance get so big in the surf fishing scene? This is the the 3rd or 4th video I've seen this year with it playing in the background but by far the most visually appealing. Nebe, if you need to find some electronic music that is a bit more progressive let me know. Let's keep the music moving forward. No more "Deep Moods Volume 6" JK, it's probably a good choice to appeal to a wider audience.
I did get a little nautious but it was damn cool.

VERY COOL,,,,,
Try a little weight to stabilize the camera,, my best guess would be bottom forward to make it dynamically stable. If you can find the exact point where the lateral and longitudinal axises cross then add the weight slightly forward of that... Its like the camera is in a continuous phugoid with a hint of dutch roll........Who knows it might work,,

No you got to put a top hat on it over the line. You want the water to shed evenly around the face of it if you want to drag it without it rolling and swimming. Terry Nugent and I were talking about this the other night. He's got one that swims like I little danny plug when you cast it and retrieve. Friggin thing wiggles
Take a circle of .020 plastic drill a very small hole in the middle then slice to the hole from the edge. Twist it together to form a cone then staple it in that position over the line. Water will shed evenly around all sides and it will stay straight.
