Woods Hole empty

Went out yesterday and marked 50.4 degrees out front of Falmouth and in Woods Hole. I didn't mark any squid out front, so I drifted the Hole with Herring for a while, but nothing. We need about 5 straight days of warm weather for the bite to turn on.

I saw birds working and fish breaking last Sat around 4:00pm when while on the MV ferry. They were about 1 mile out of WH and the fish were decent size...it wasn't herring.

Hit a few spots between Falmouth and the Vineyard last night and woods hole drifting herring again. NOTHING.
I went on my first ride on a Cat boat, it was a 32 foot Twin Vee with 225 Honda's. Not the best looking boat and strange to ride on, but very economical with huge fishing space and amazing stability. With the Honda's on the back, you can cruise at 25 knots and carry on a conversation like you were sitting in your living room.
