I think last year 179 and Scottch came up with channel 69 as the s-b channel. I tried to search for it but could not find the posts from last year. What about it 179 was it 69 and will it be again this year?

I generally try and keep the radio off, I find it annoying at times. But I will be listen in now and again...I am not sure if it is a good idea to be on that list or not? 69 is a good number.
How does one enter the hall of fame list?

I may be wrong, and it's been a long time since I've reviewed this, but I seem to recall that it is required to monitor channel 16, if you have a VHF and are on the water, so that a distress call would be heard. Am I wrong?

Bob Sr.
I really haven't been out fishing in the boat since I saw you out at WW. Fishing from shore has been so good I haven't ventured out in the boat.
I'll probably be fishing in the pond tomorrow evening with some buckies, maybe I'll catch you out there......

16? - 69? and Papasquash Stripers
I agree to monitor 16 but you can always take a second to jump over to 69 now and then to see who's on 'first' and who's on '2nd' - right?
We caught 4 Stripers in the Papasquash Pt. area today (Sat) - 3 keepers and one 'heave ho'
Last week and the week before I boated no less than 16 to 20 fish per/trip in the same area.. between Papasquash Pt. and Potters Cove entrance..
Using top water blue and white atom poppas with white shag tails and 'silver spoons' as in Crockadial.
Cheers,
