Cool

and look at you with a 47
congrats
and Tony isn't far behind you

your 47 is not noted in the monthly lead for July yet, or the yearly lead with you still in first place

It took you long enough, Rookie.

Six weeks left in the tournament and Reel Deal seems to have it sewn up.Somehow this seems to have inspired the pro surfcaster division to go for silver.I believe in putting forth a good effort, but can't imagine admitting second place as a goal for a team.

Good Luck in your quest for the cup(2nd place)!!!???
What a joke.

First place is the goal but right now with TRD's significant advantage we're playing for the wild card. But, wait, so is Team Striper. Or did you give up?

We could give up and still beat you (derogatory term).3 or 4 guys that catch fish and the rest are good at typing.Wild card my ass.Redlite must regret not making the jump this year but at least with RT ineligible he will think he is the worlds greatest surfcaster again.

Beat me to it Slip. Hey Chrissy, most of us are simply not as good as you, much as we try. Is there room for us typers?

You're a little more caustic than normal this morning, little bottlegrip perhaps?

SORRY to use that term,it was more figurative than literal.Kind of like when you call someone an a hole. You do not actually think they are anal pores.
Slip, you are a fisherman and typer.
John,I hope your feet are feeling better.
Hope this clears things up as I feel better already.
We could still beat you without trying though.

Thanks Paul,I'd hate to think my genius is going unrecognized.I just feel bad for OTW because my hurtful prose caused Slip to chicken out of the contest.

FWIW,the term I used to cause Slip to push the button rhymes with bags. This term in no way implies any type of homophobia or gay bashing on my part. I could care less whether any person likes members of their own sex.Really! But I will use the term as a punchline just as I would the French,Irish,Jewish etc.I guess it is a generation thing, but if I call someone a pussy it doesn't mean I think they are vagina. What is the world coming to when an obviously benign referance causes such an uproar on a fishing board?I actually like the gay community(Manzi included)and took my boat to P-town on Sunday afternoon just to meet my family for dinner at the Lobster Pot.The wussification of America is disturbing in some ways but I will stand resolute and will continue to dine on Commercial Street.Maybe Slip's head is just getting too big for the buttons, next time he gets up I may just push his stool in for him(another joke Paul).

For those who took my other comments seriously, get a life already it's just a stupid fishing tournament.

I am ending up a typer this year. I can't seem to break the 45 lb mark in the boat this year, but 2 friends got a 50 just a day or so ago so there are some there but they don't like my worms. This is my last year doing this as I really don't add anything to the team, except cheer leading. I'm a coat tail rider, and his island is dead. GO TEAM, BEAT SEA DANGLES TEAM, They aren't trying anymore.

Be nice to Bruce i have to drive up to the north shore with him on Saturday and i don't want him grumpy, that's my bag.

Paul,I'm with you on the tube thing. Tony and I went out a couple nights ago and I had a better time than I had anticipated. Caught some but not a lot but it was a peaceful alternative to my usual bass techniques.Trolling will never be my thing but when wind and weather dictate at least it is an option.Next time I see you I will pick your brain a bit.
As for the tournament,it is getting tiring. It's not the cheating that bothers me as much as seeing what it does to friends and fishing partners.Fishing has always been a social pasttime and I have seen deception first hand this year.I can't imagine forsaking friendship for a hot bite but it happens. All for what?A trophy Iron Mike puked in!!!As in years past ,I joined this year to have a chance at a monthly which I suppose could still happen. But I have enough gear and the thought of making enemies for $10,000 is stomach turning for me. I haven't fished much for bass this year but I am really having fun with new species especially fluke. Now we have funny fish on the doorstep and I'll be chasing them around and wasting gas.Maybe we can meet up and chase them sometime. Make sure you give Slip a man hug for me.

yeah i'm too short for a man hug, could get strange.

Anytime Chris. I'm one of those people that actually luv to troll and the tube is something I may have a little knowledge of just from the many hours I spend doing it. I can't wait for the Albies this year, if it is half as good as the bite I lucked into, well I was summoned by a friend, last year I'll be thrilled. Only done 1 fluke trip this year which disappointments me. Can't seem to find the time. and i'd luv to meet up sometime. Peace.
