First Fall Nor'easter upon us

Perhaps things will really pick up shortly for us shore based anglers? Will we go from a pick to blitzy conditions shortly? Last year about this time it really broke open for bigger stuff, much like it does every year.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Could swing either way. Two-day event with some sustained winds over 30 could result in a weedy mess. Or, hopefully much of the bait that recently vacated the N. Shore will get blown back in here. Regardless, won't know unless you are willing to get out there and get wet. I am gonna guess that the folks that fish hard when things are just starting to wind up will do the best.

I hope you are right! I could really use a break, pretty new to the sport- I have had a rough summer from shore. I'm not so good at figuring out what spot for what conditions, when, what to use etc. Been fishing all alone @night for much of the summer, movin around a bit, with little luck. I've been really paying attention to all the details and writing stuff down though, so in a few years I should have a nice journal of how not to do it! So needless to say, if there WERE some more fish showing up close to shore, it would greatly improve my chances. Looking forward to fall!

I havent been paying attention to the weather lately, i just figure 80's and sunny like the rest of the year. I fished last night until 2AM, Got up at 11 today and headed out to the water. It was gorgeous out there. Besides the water and air temps i would have sworn it was mid october. Oh and the fish were missing also.

Everything is better on the rocks.

so time to get ready for the fleet?

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
