I'm told people are clamming at Wolly. I haven't seen it with my own two eyes but who knows. I think Boston Harbor in general is a hell of allot cleaner than people give it credit for.

Spme of the flats were open last year for clamming. One section, I think at the yacht clubs was closed for it.

did you have any luck?

I have been putting in my time during the last week. Very few fish and very small at that But it still beats sitting home.

Haven't seen a keeper caught there yet.

no luck at all, its hard being a beginner, didnt know where to go down there, we ended up at like some old light house or something, it was down past the entrance for marina bay, might head out tomorrow to fore river or back river, gotta fix my car first though, blew a bearing yesterday in the tire

Get small jig heads and plastic shad bodies like Christian said, go down to Blacks Creek - south end of Wally beach at the top of the tide and for the first couple hours of the drop - cast back & fro and you'll often find bass there...

Locdog you were at Squaw rock. It's too early for that location. Like John R said Blacks creek is where you want to go. Instead of turning at the D&D, stay on Quincy Shore Drive, go past all the clam shacks. Last lot on the right, before the bridge that goes over the creek. Cross the drive, and fish the creek.
