Thieves....I just can't believe people

We have all been young at one time and have done things that we regret. Working with kids and understanding this I would expect it from young adults, but from grown men? I had a few plugs taken at striper fest and even had my hat stolen off my head(who does that).....and we had a couple of plugs taken off the table at the sebile booth. But when a friend of mine Chris (Bigbuck28) said to me some guy just took a lure from the table and is getting away. I looked up to see a man maybe in his 50s trying to quickly make a getaway thru the crowd waiting for who won the boat. Chris ran after the man and after a few exchange of words the man returned along with chris with not only one lure but two. He then asked how much to buy them. Talk about pitiful and I just cant imagine the shame that someone of that age would have to steal a lure........Its sad.

On another note, glad to see many of you at striperfest. John, Vic, and Scott thanks for heckling me at my seminar..... lmao and had a great time. I wish I could have enjoyed the atmosphere a little more, but running between two booths...I barely had time to talk.

Angry No excuse

Scumbag!!! If someone got a photo I'd like to know what they look like so I don't treat them well if I bump into them at some point.

I was walking across the floor going from one booth to the other when some drunk guy took my hat off my head and said....." I like your hat" I said me too man got to go. He put what I taught was my hat back on my head. I didn't notice it was switched till I walked pass a mirror at home...lol....I knew it felt funny......It just blows my mind what people will do

I dont know....The hat was pretty new. It was a team sebile hat and I only wear it when I do pro staff stuff for them. The hats not a biggie and either is the baits as they will get replaced, but the fact that the guy who took the lures off the table looked like he was probably someone's dad or even grandfather is just shamefull. Did not expect it from someone like that.....The guy who took my hat...At least he was drunk and my fault for not noticing lol

Our marina has a lot of guys who have recreational 5 pot lobster licenses. Most people who do that keep a lobster hotel off the end of the dock so they can take a few here and there for dinner and parties.

Last week during the week, someone cleaned out the marinas lobster hotels. One of my neighbors was having a lobster bake in the afternoon. He came down to the boat expecting to find 30 lobsters he'd gotten himself all summer.
Empty.

F'ing lowlifes.

Something like that should be a shock, but unfortunatley it happens enough that it doesn't surprise me much at all. Every year we hear about stuff being stolen from a table at one of the shows, or gear being stolen from a truck, or even a canal bike being taken. The world is full of good, honest people but has just enough lowlife's to make you not be able trust anyone.

Conservatism is not about leaving people behind. Conservatism is about empowering people to catch up, to give them tools at their disposal that make it possible for them to access all the hope, all the promise, all the opportunity that America offers. - Marco Rubio

You'd be surprised....we once had a guy on the ship, when I was in the Navy, that we caught stealing dirty socks out of the Berthing Area Hamper....

The really sad part is that would only make the situation worse. I think everyone on this site would like to see that guy get knocked down and have someone step on his throat but that's not exactly going to work out in anyones favor. I'd vote for the police involvement angle. If nothing else it's an embarrasment for the dude.

Agreed. Would have demonstrated to everyone how much of a POS the guy is. I have to imagine an event like StriperFest was required to have at least a couple cops there. A little embarrassment is of no consequence to these people, but being over 50 years old and getting the silver bracelets put on in front of everyone could help.

So you know what....the guy got away with it! No verbal or physical reprimand and no arrest! Now he will just go do it again......is that better?

Thats what I hate about the way the system works, if there is no penalty then what stops them next time? I am so sick and tired of hearing excuses, to me there is no excuse, if it's not your don't touch it.

If it's any conciliation Roy the Kid I brought with me (12 yr old, my buddies son) asked me if it was OK to keep the Mercury Hat You gave him cuz he didn't score enough points casting at the targets. Good Kid.
Hopefully he'll help offset the dbag thieves in the future.

Talking

a bit of justice was served to the hat guy.. I saw the drunk hat guy Roy. He had about 4 or 5 hats on top of eachother, he was in the porta john, and didnt slide the door lock to *red. Iron Mike noticed that the porta john was green sooooo he opened it wide open and went to walk in then realized there was someone already in it *hat guy.. When hat guy was finished he got all po'd at whomever opened the door on him, iron mike goes to walk into the porta john, hat guy held the door open for iron mike... when mike went to walk into the porta john the drunk hat guy slammed the door shut and the iron one walked into it...

You should have taken a picture of the creep who tried to steal the sample lures off of Sebile's table if not to post it online but to share it with some of the other vendors and tables as a heads up, keep this creep away from your tables but an arrest would have been Beautiful

Domination takes full concentration..
