Wallpapering
There's 3 things I really hate in renovations.
Plumbing
Wallpapering
Painting
In that order. I'm wallpapering the dining room tomorrow.
Oh yippee.

imitation vinyl wallpaper that is pre glued is
the only way to wallpaper imho
and then ya still use glue
the problems end "when" you can drag it into
the perfect position without it tearing

yeah thats what i was sayin earlier
that there's vinyl wallpaper that "looks" like paper
that won't rip and you can drag it around more
to get that perfect alignment
just because its easier
with the advantage of it being scrub-able.

The last time that I wallpapered was the last time. It came out looking like a ball of paper with a foot print in it...
I hate that stuff..

I'm feeling it today. Even with knee pads on frig me. I took a slice out of the inside side of my thumb with the damn putty knife scraping the glue off the wall. Course every time I picked the brush up all day the damn bristles stuck right into it and made it bleed
Wife likes it so much she wants me to get 3 more rolls and do the whole kitchen.

Don't forget to repaint all the trim, and this is a good time to fix that leaky pipe now that things are messed up anyway.

no, won't do it, all that will do is bleed the natural oils outta yer skin, and the paper will now curl & peel faster

Those sausage fingers aren't too good for working wall paper, Scott, LOL.
Gotta use glue over the pre-glued section. Some basic tools that you need. Biggest thing you need is patience IMHO.
If you want some help or need some tips - just holler. I was in your town yesterday.
I hate doing GROUT - scraping it out and doing it over every few years just STINKS.
