Thanks, all. Mom had 91 good years here. We were fortunate to have her for so long.

She passed peacefully, without suffering.

I'm grateful to the staff at Miriam for taking such good care of her, and for making her last days comfortable.

Sorry for your loss, Mike.

I had a few people privately ask me about arrangements.

Her wake is Wednesday, from 4-8 PM at the Cheetham Mortuary, 1012 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

Funeral will be Thursday at 10 AM, at St. Leo's church on Central Avenue, also in Pawtucket.

Mike - I'm sorry to hear of your loss

Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Well, it looks like snow trumps everything.

Just got a call from my sister. The funeral home called. Since Mount St. Mary's cemetary decided that they're giving their workers Wednesday off and the grave won't be ready, everything is being pushed back a day.

Wake is now Thursday, same calling hours.

Funeral and burial on Friday.

Forgot to mention it sooner Mike but you look really trim now since all the weght lose. Good job. I hope you can maintain the good eating habits. As we talked about at the TFCTFN last year , I too have the borderline A1c now so I hope to do the same as you. Anyway , good to see you looking so healthy!
