				Trying to download video???

Been trying to download some kayaking video I took last season....most of it on our first Scramble down the North River. However I am having problems....apparently the computer does not recognize the camera????? I don't know anything.......emphasis on the word...."ANYTHING"......about doing this! My son even tried and he could not figure it out and we tried it on his MAC??? So if we can figure it out I will let you guys know. Its pretty funny stuff and I thought it would give us all something warm to look at given the recent weather! If you have any advice that might help I would love to hear it?? |

				 | Does the camera have a removable storage card, like an SD or microSD? If so try putting that into compatible slot directly in the computer and read file that way (or transfer file to computer hard disk). I'm assuming you are plugging in the camera to the computer. |

				 | Larry, you might (also) try this, looks like instructions are "Sony Drivers for Dummy's":
Get official Sony Handycam Drivers with Driver Whiz. Driver Whiz scans your computer for missing, corrupt, and outdated Sony Handycam drivers and automatically updates them to the latest, most compatible version.
Driver Whiz's saves you time and frustration and works with all Sony Handycam drivers.

				 | On the MAC, open up an app called image capture. it should find your camera, which it will call a device. Also, you might have to turn the camera on, then plug in the USB chord. iPhoto might want to import the footage. From there, open up iMovie and import the files. It is very simplePosted from my iPhone/Mobile device

				 | Restart the Mac. Turn on the camera, plug in the camera and walk away for 10 minutes. Sometimes it takes a while for the computer to see the cameraPosted from my iPhone/Mobile device
