finally some fishies

Hey John, we had a great day yesterday. Baitcaster and I went out on the boat early in am. Got 3 nice blues, 12.2 lbs, 11.6 lbs for baitcaster and I got one at 8.12lbs. Had to go to the b-bouy to find them but they are starting to move in. Then we had a client in the afternoon, woman has relocated to hull area from North Carolina and she caught her 1st 10 stripers last night and had a ball. Hit the usual spot to come up with about 60 fish for the evening up to 25". I know there not big but I will take a 100 small ones pulling the other way over waiting for 1 big one. The big ones will come soon on MV I hope. The dates for the Derby I am pretty shore are Sept. 11 to oct 14 or something like that but I will get back to ya and let ya know.

Hey FW, you must have gotten there just after I went by. Spot was empty, except for the fish I could see in the small cuts from my moving perch above .. Was going to let you know today but I guess you already know that .... The wing any better??

Sorta kinda good to hear that no matter how painfull the cast, you still do it ... Almost within a month of your vacation now, eh??

Fishing has been fair. Getting some but no great size or numbers at this time. Spots I've been hitting have been 80+ miles from home or requiring a boat ride to get to them... Some smaller keeper fish though...
