We threw them for a while friday night with nothing and I did again last night after the only fish I saw caught was taken on an eel. The eel was about 20" and the fish was 29". Don't be discouraged by people telling you it is too early to fish eels on the back side.

eelin'

Hello,

We have seen some good results on snakes over on Nantucket.

Fish to 30 lbs. and growing !

Been having fantastic success on Smack-it surface plugs and bombers in low to no light. These cloudy days are great for "Civilized Bassin ". I may grab a few slimers this afternoon before I head out on the beach.

Best of Luck and keep casting/drifting.

I hear casting the offering is the highest percentage way of catching a fish.

If anyone has a better alternative, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW !

Man, these past two weeks make me happy I didn't spend my money on the Bowflex and used for the dough for putting flue in the rig. I have probably lost 5 lbs !

Go Get Em !

A few guys here in Newport have been getting some fish on eels last week.I haven't really kept up on the local goings on as I've been very busy with work between floods.
I only get an hour in the morning and the occasional hour or so in the evening to fish and that's when its raining.Lots of plugging
not much in the all natural category.
Here's to a MASSIVE BONUS and more time on my hands.

I've taken fish to 37" on eels thus far, but I've taken fish to 38 lbs using artificials. Fishing around vineyard sound.
