What is your go-to lure?
You make it out to the waters you intend to fish, don't know if and what the fish are feeding on, and reach into the plug bag...
What's the first thing you pull out of there most often?
For me it's between a Black/Gold Chrome Bomber and a 6'' Storm Wildeye these days.

What's a plug bag? I reach into my plastic bag and will usually start with a 5-1/2" split tail, holigraphic glitter belly with a smoke top. If I need to go deeper, I'll use a smoke 8" curly tail grub on a 1 oz Owner jig head.

smillin bill bucktail or a clouser. either one will work on a flyrod actually, don't ask me how I know
My go to plug these days is a Jigman homemade surfster-yellow/white with a hint of chartreuse and some glitter, it will outfish a Yo-Maggie I bet.

i start with a yozuri
mackeral -> and see what's what...if no action i switch to the olive color next then a heavier long distance popper after that. i use smashing pops like i'm trying to break it off my line then several small slow pops... wiggles - then repeat. But now that i am armed with ledgerunner plastics i'll be pitchin those too. i am definately a soft plastics man. I ordered the bass assassin glass shads (5 inch) in purple for dusk and rainbow for day...so that i have a huge choice in my arsenal. The shads are in there too for bottom bouncing....->when realism is a necessity. i could spend five grand on lures and not have enough...hahahahah gimme more! more i say. men need toys too.

1/4 oz white jig with chartreuse plastic trailer trolled from down riggers. If fish are shallower a little mac flatline trolled. However, unlike amost everyone else on this BB, I'm fishing fresh water.
