I think some casting practice should be on the schedule, since I'm sure none of us has been casting during the winter.

I'd hate to head out and find fish biting and throw my shoulder, back or elbow out this early in the spring!

Only thng stopping you is free time and a 30 minute drive. Of course they are not large but they do pull back.

Found myself casting/flipping into my pool this afternoon. GF came home asking what the hell I was doing.

Maybe tomorrow morning, I hope, I hope, I hope! Dunking the boat and dipping a line, even if I never leave the harbor. Even 'er.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I am suprised at how many guys have nothing to do but fish. I cannot even think about it right now I am so busy with other stuff. Maybe I need to re-assess my priorities.

No boat, back in the suds.

I got plenty to do....but the fishing is more of a way to relax from all the other BS and have a little "Me" time.

Me too. I need the hurrying, rushing, mild insanity of a morning blitz erupting from abnormally placid conditions to soothe my soul.

I have plenty of stuff to do, some of it cool and fun, My soul needs to experience some recharge.

I need a bass a large bass, slowing finning behind my slowly reeled plug, to hit it six feet from the boat , have the plug fly over my head, leaving a swirl about 5 feet in diameter in front of me, slap me with water with her tail as she swims away.

Broke out the freshwater gear for half an hour yesterday. Felt good to make a few casts.

After this winter (both weather-wise and school and work-wise) I am ready, I don't think I've ever been this ready to just get a line wet in any kind of water!
