Killed the Skunk. 2 nice fish on one of my own designed plastics.

Bossman was a witness although he says he will claim they are from last year.

Yikes, this is getting serious. I'm standing out there in lightning trying to no avail to hook fish too small to eat a 5" plug . Still stuck on 4 fish total.

After 3 days and about 8 hours of fishing I finally got another tonight.
Good thing, too. The dog was getting totally disgusted with me.

Nice fish on a good looking plug.

Yup. I suspect these fish are from the northern rivers, not the Chesapeake yet. Had a friend kill a 30" fish yesterday....it was full of eggs. If it had been from the south I think it would have spawned......or already been dead. On a brighter note, he got into plenty of fish with his flyrod so maybe things will pick up.

The atmosphere completely changed last night. Water not moving as well and NO BAIT, NO BAIT, NO BAIT at 3 separate locations. Desolate. Not even the slightest sign of bait.

Went yesterday after work, wrong wind, and the tide was too late, managed to have one fish blow up a pencil 6 feet from me, and not land it.

So far just two fish.

Hopefully get out tonight after work.
