Boston Harbor "Scramble"!
OK guys.....this coming Saturday the 11th! Meeting at Hull Gut at 6:00am and we will be fishing all day Saturday in and around the area and then camping overnight on either Peddocks Island, Grape or Bumpkin Island! I just need to call the appropriate folks to book a campsite. From what I understand campsites are good for 4 tents each! Not sure on cost yet but split between those going I can't imagine it will be more than a few bucks apiece! We have 7:30am high tide in the harbor which is ideal for us so if you are interested in joining us please post in this thread! Weather looks great for the weekend at this time and I am hearing good things about the harbor fishing! Lets see who is in and we can start a food/gear thread asap. I know Tagger and I are going.....Fishbones maybe? Lets hear it guys!!!  |

You will need a tent...sleeping bag. We have gear for cooking so no worries there!  |

Where are all my "Yak Rat" buddies??? I am pumped for this weekend and I am betting the fishing is icky-pallucky!!!  Maybe even some surf fishing after dark???? Maybe even some yak fishing after dark??? Oh yeah baby....thats what I am talkin' bout!!!! |

Larry ... I know I talked with you about the camping season not being open yet But meeting at Hull gut 6:00 am Saturday is still on .. A friend from Yak Rats face book,,,a Rockland fireman might want to go .

Can we try for 5:30 Eddie if thats ok?? I am planning on launching from the right hand side of the gut as opposed to passing through Eddie? Its the return trip I worry about not just with the boat traffic going thru there but the shore fishermen also! More the merrier!! |

So did the Gut Scramble happen yesterday? Any luck? I know it was a day to be extremely cautious as I was out in the area on Raider Nation II and even on that boat we had some interesting moments.

We went out Saturday Phil...I think ou guys went out Sunday?? Tagger and I went out at 6:00am Saturday from the gut to PA and back...raised a few swipes but no fish. Conditions were great.....guess the fish did not think so!

From talking to fishers everywhere Race to North Shore and including the canal Switch was for the most part OFF!!! last weekend .. I saw fish with my own eyes I marked fish . There are no mud clumps off Hull ..

I remember those mud clumps from our trip Tagger! Are you sure they didn't follow you guys to Hull?
