Caught on Sabiki Rig

If you want to catch big fish I guess you need a sabiki rig and throw away your standard striper hooks.

Get a boat and you will never fish from shore again.

I'm glad you feel that way. I was going to invite you out fishing, but since you do not like live lining live mack's there is no need to invite.

Then again if you want to try to catch a cow, I'm going at 6:00 AM Tuesday(tomorrow) to catch some mack's and striper fish, no guarantee on catching a big one.

Oh! No Striper For Ever membership cards allowed on the boat.

I love live-lining macs- from shore, Jig them up in the harbor and then drive across town and plop them in the canal. They are just alive enough to be easily slurped up by some big bass- just not too many 50 pounders swimming through there (although it does happen).

Someone gets a 50 every year from the groaner area but it is obviously not "easy". I will buy a boat when I can no longer hop the rocks. I'd would take you up on the invite but that four-letter word (WORK) is owning me these days. Keep me in mind around the N. Shore get together later this summer/fall!

nice! what a fish! good for that guy. I will be hopefully be out livelining from the kayak this weekend!
