Quick Update on Bill!!
Hi All, well Bill actually had his eyes open yesterday and was pretty alert so it was so GREAT to see him awake, and they also were able to take him off the BP meds. and heart rate meds. So that was fantastic as he looked so bad for about 6 days.
He did try to write me a note on a piece of paper, but was not strong enough to even hold on to the pen so he just thru it down in frustration and shook his head. I did tell him about the tracheostomy as he needs to know what they are planning on doing. He just shook his head and rolled his eyes as he has just been through so much.
The other thing going on with him right now is his white blood count which has been going up over the past few days, it was 20,000 yesterday morning and now is 42,000 and they are not sure what is causing it. They did do a bunch of cultures on him and put him on antibiotics but the culture result will not be back till tomorrow or the day after. So I hope to God he is not getting infection in his bowel or colon as that is what they are thinking could be happening.
I told him how muchALL OF YOU have been supporting us with with all your thoughts and prayers, auctions and all the wonderful stuff you have ALL done for us. He was very thankful to you all for that.
Today he was pretty awake as well and has been breathing on his own even though the breathing tube is still in, so now they are thinking about taking the breathing tube out either tonight or tomorrow. I think they are pushing him way to soon as they did that a week and a half ago and it almost killed him as he is just too weak, I do not know what makes them think he will do better this time when his heart and body was so dam stressed last week with that allergic reaction and his vitals being so bad.
Don't get me wrong as it would be awesome if they could get him off the breathing machine and not have to do a tracheostomy and put a feeding tube in him. But that white count scares the crap out of me as we do not need any more repeat issues for him as his body has had enough. I have a call into one of the doctors as I want to know why they think he is ready after only 2 days of doing a bit better. By no means is he out of the woods yet but I will take these past few days anytime to be able to see him and know he knows I am there, and that I love him very much.
I know you all have been praying for him, so tonight if you could give all the prayers you can, all the good ju ju you have whatever you think will help him through this. AGAIN thank you all for all you have done for us. You guys are giving me the strengh I need to keep hanging in there as this is getting so so hard. God bless you all. I will let you know how he does in a few days.

prayers
Hello Jules, I do not post here too much so the name may not be familiar but you and Bill where actually my first Guided trip! a shore trip where I brought my wife (girlfriend @ the time) maybe 15-20yrs ago but it was way way back and you and Bill took us around Hull and Nantasket with light tackle but since then I took up the salt water fly Rod, my wife stayed conventional and I found my place,, because of You and Bill being so nice and really getting me interested in light tackle I persued its challenge to the fullest which soon connected me to the ulitmate weapon the fly Rod and that took me all around the world with some of the best guides I ever met catching fish that I only read about and that was something I would of never experienced if it wasn't for you guys being so nice to two total newbs that day who didn't know the difference between salt and fresh water lures.
You and Bill are in our prayers and I'm looking forward to fishing with you and Bill again soon.
love T&C
