Fishing tomorrow 100 F

100 degree temps or not, I'm going. I have Fridays off.
Maybe offshore if winds stays down, if not I'll do some bassin
in close.

Bring plenty of water and leave the top up. If I go bassin, I'll be back home by 11-12 before the peak heat of the day.

SO.....whos going ??????

Did pretty good-OK..

The ocean was flat even though it was blowing hard (west).
It was WAY cooler out there.

No crazy action like last week.
A blind squirrel could have caught fish that week.

I took a ride off shore about 20 miles just to see if anything going on. NADA !!!!

Back inside I got fish in every spot I moved to.
Some BIG blues to were lots of fun...

I forgot to mention all the freaking flies that were out there.
Drove me nuts. Biting horseflies.

Those flies SUCKED. I was out on the NWC on Friday and and the more we killed, the more there were. I had more dead flies on the deck than fish, that's for sure!

I never knew they could fly 20 miles....

Went to the NWC today, saw more fish than flies.

Narragansett Bay has gone dead. I went from Warwick Cove to Newport out to Brenton Reef, Mackeral Cove, Beavertail, all the way back to Wickford, over to Gould and then back to Warwick and never saw a bird working or a Bluefish break, never mind bass.

We need so crappy weather with rain, fog, overcast, snot and then I'll find fish.

No boat, back in the suds.
