Good fishing off Cutty Hunk with Capt Chet Hathaway onboard the Nor-Easter.

Smokey and I had a great time last night fishing off Cutty Hunk onboard the Nor-Easter , a charter boat out of New Bedford/FairHaven , MA. The boat is a Crosby Hawk 29. Its very roomy and is well equiped. Its also very fast so you get out there fast and can change spots fast if you have to. Chet had everything we needed. All we had to bring was our cloths and food. His mate John was very helpful with the gear and in landing fish. Smokey hammered them. He had 2 -30 pounders and several about 20. I had 8 fish myself but they were about 12 -20 pounds.

The sea conditions were sloppy do to a bad wind but Chet kept us on fish till very late in the night. He's got several different techniques worked out perfectly for getting you to the fish. No bait , all lures.

If you are interested , you can send him an email at
nor-easter@mediaone.net

Thanks a lot Chet , we had a great time.
