Staying close to home with the exception of early Sunday morning - that morning I'll be fishing 37 miles to the east of me.

Friday will be garden stuff, and trying to avoid the heat and humidity.....Saturday, usual grocery shopping and other chores, and trying to avoid the heat and humidity.....Sunday, catching a 50 lber....(Um, yeah, right......but I can hope, can't I?), and then trying to avoid the heat and humidity.....and the crazies and traffic, especially on Route 1 in Foxboro (concert at the stadium.......that should make for some fun traffic in the area at the end of the holiday weekend..... )

Friday - possibly fishing in the am. Some remote location south of GoogerVille ...then hopefully bringing a 30" fish to the BBQ Friday afternoon. Then I'm going to try and gaze at the stars thru the bottom of a Corona bottle

Saturday - Rassle some traffic over 1 of the Twin Bridges...hopefully make it to Rainbow-Land by 2pm... Thinking of bringing a rod to the Race, but I don't want to interupt someone's blanket party like last time...

...come back Monday sometime - back to reality.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

I think I'm going to try and get out early, early tomorrow or Sat... my daughter wants to go with me again. If I get on the water by 4:30, I can get alot of fishing in and be off the water by 11... this will avoid the majority of the drunken navigational hazards.

Probably try to get some herring cause I'm starting to get the need for a big fish.

Other than that, hang out with the family and get some stuff done around the house. Got one of those 14' pools with the inflatable ring at the top... anyone have one of those. Its pretty sweet for someone who doesn't want to real pool. Its 3' deep and plenty big to occupy a 5 year old for hours and for adults to cool off for a bit.

The only problem is I haven't quite figured out the chemicals yet and the water turned slightly green. Directions are all vague which you'd think I'd be used to being in the IT field... I don't think its algae, but not sure.

I put alot of stuff in it yesterday, we'll see what happens

If my hair is blond in my next fish picture, you'll know I overdid it.

Hope to get back over to Quonny and follow NilsC around in the yak' and watch him catch a pant load of fish! If I'm lucky one or two will get past him while he has a fish on and I may even get to hook up! That guy is a fishin' machine!

Hey... Have a safe and happy 4th!

Tight Lines,
Rob

I'll be at NTCA again this wekend. It seems my friends in the river have moved out. Now I will be driving 4 hours instead of 4 minutes to catch fish.

I'm spending most of July 4th with the wife and kids at a family BBQ. I may go striper fishing a couple of times if the weather cooperates.

Tomorrow up to Newburyport for the wife's family party. Funny, out of the 100 people there, nobody likes to fish. Work Saturday. Sunday back up to Gloucester to visit friends who do like to fish. Unfortunately, though they've had two little ones in the past 18 months (OUCH!) and have sold their boat and are way to busy with the little monkeys to even entertain the though to bringing all of us fishing (I don't blame them).
Next weekend's shot, too. Wife's family feels the need to make plans every weekend from July 4th to September 4th.
UUGGH, oh well, I haven't really been doing well anyway, so I might as well try to make it up on another front.
Mikey, how you postin with no computer? Is this like a Matrix mind trick thing?
You break into Dad's house to post?
Good Luck Guys,
Rick
