Wow huh?
A 49-year-old Montauk business owner has been arrested on 10 felony and two misdemeanor charges related to the sexual assault of a child.
East Hampton Town police announced on Monday that Paul S. Apostolides, who also lives in Islip, is being held on $150,000 bail following an arraignment in Suffolk County Criminal Court. He pleaded not guilty before Judge Barbara Kahn on Nov. 4.
The alleged incident or incidents took place in Montauk, though police did not elaborate.
Detective Lt. Chris Anderson said the investigation was launched after a complaint was filed and took place over the course of several months.
According to court records, a grand jury, convened on Nov. 2, indicted him on second-degree rape, five counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, criminal sex act in the second-degree, two counts of child endangerment, promoting a sexual performance by a child, and counts of sexual conduct against a child in the first-degree and second-degree.
Apostolides is the owner of Paulie's Tackle Shop.
Brian J. DeSesa, who works in Edward Burke Jr.'s office in Sag Harbor, is representing Apostolides, according to court records. He did not immediately return a call for comment.
Apostolides is due back in court on Dec. 2.

That sad someone associated with the fishing community has been indicted and arrested for this.
The only problem is getting the victim to publicly testify. Going before the grand jury is secret and only 23 people plus the ada's and the court clerk are going to know who you are. Then comes the trial, and all these victims see what happens publicly sometimes. This is why so many of these perps ever do much time. A deal is worked out, which benefits the perp and not the protect the public, because the victim sometimes outrightly refuses to testify. We all know that a defendant has the right to face thier accuser, and rightly so, but these perves no this, and so don't thier attorneys.

It's been on the other site for days now, think it was about 16 pages last time I checked.
Just awful.
If he is guilty he'll get what's coming to him, they always do.

Someone mentioned this to me today. Don't read the other site sorry.
I'm pretty sure they have a good case against him if they convened a grand jury and watched the guy for months.
No need of this bs
