Thanks to all. For a one week "season" I was sure happy to nail that fish. All the other 40"-ish fish I caught were sub twenty or just over so that was the only real fighter.
JP, I'm a hippie, what can I say? Going to Phish this weekend for two nights at Alpine Valley WI.
Here's some trivia; If anyone can tell by the pics where on the canal I caught that fish I'll.....

You said a lot already when you said you weighed it at One-Shot
I'm guessing you didn't drive by 3-4 shops on the way if you got it at the west end

Just for some fun, it's not going to blow my spot for the rest of the seaon anyways!
I didn't catch it in the east end proper. I didn't even catch it in a rip where "alot of other 40's have come from." It was kinda a weird spot to be fishing on the west to be honest. I was parked at the Herring Run P-lot. Got bike?
Mike P does all night long and Dunkin Doughnuts mean anything
One shot was probably the only game in town at 7 am, not sure because I didn't drive by any other shops

Nice to see a hippie with a solid fish. Hope you catch a monster show from The Phish at Alpine as well. No Phish for me this summer...after 62 shows it's hard to motivate when the nearest show is ten+ hours away.

It's getting tougher but I think there will be a pretty good fall tour this year. Last winter I went to Chicago (6 of 10), Cinnci on the first night (8) and Greensboro which was a 10. Go or you'll regret it when you get old.

I saw NYE, and Woosta this past winter. Got a wedding on the IT weekend...so that can't happen. I'm waiting for fall. I haven't been all that excited by setlists so far, but last night...I think I'll get the discs for that one.

BM, Only if it's barefoot, do you like long walks on the beach? Do you like 80 lb bass? Are you a hippie? If so you better not post a reply or this could get scary
Thanks again for all the good times guys.
