If you can get them both online you can just copy from on to the other.
To link them directly requires a crossover cable that you probably don't have.

you can use/need a flash drive for that
like an eight gig...plugs in Usb port
hopefully the old Pc will recognize it
then you just create a folder
after copying pull the flash drive out of the old
and plug it into the new in it's usb port

um........the chick said in the video
"everything comes in the box"... [quote]
but when you select the adapter... (way cooler than a flash drive)
it appears that is all you get...

intriguing adapter, never seen one like that before. Thanks for posting it, i will be purchasing it.
Is everything hosted externally? another words no casing? also do they have a fire wire version? Esata? instead of a USB connection?

This is going to sound pretty simplistic but why not just copy the folder(s) containing the pics to CD(s) and then take the CD(s) and put it in the new PC and copy pics to the desired folder?

it's my understanding a cd will only hold, lets say 50 pics? of the right size.
I would guess I have at least 1500 if not 2000. I remember going thru a bunch of crap with formatting discs and resizing pics. I don't want to do that 50 times.
I'll tackle this after new years I guess
