Harley Owners???
I have always ridden rice rockets...but don't think my body can take that anymore... My question to all you Harley guys. Which bike would be right for me? There are so many. Sportsters seem fun but too small and uncomfortable....Road Kings seem waaay too big. I want something in the middle I think.. What do you suggest? Fatboy?

It's all pretty subjective Dave. If you're pounding the pavement around town and some medium distance rides, a Softail or one of the Dyna Lowriders are pretty comfortable. If you're planning on any real distance rides, I would recommend something with a full swingarm suspension like the Road King, Electra, Road Glides, etc.
I have a Softail Custom and have ridden all throughout NE. All trips were day rides or an overnighter. Something that you can pack light for.
It's all about what fits your style of riding along with what you consider eye candy in the styling aspects. I always liked the stripped down bare bones style, but as I get older, I've considered getting into something a bit more comfortable.
Here's my scooter.

Woah..Nice bike BigBo. Yeah, I'm looking for something to ride around town and an occasional day trip..not too long distance. The Softail may do it for me.

That bike is almost 14 years old now.
Still runs as good as new.

Quite a few with the softail suspension. Mac got a Dresser last spring. Be sure you at least test ride a few Victory models before deciding.

Does it have to be a Harley? How about a Victory? Mine was a 2006 vegas 8 ball. Awesome bikes! Very happy with it never had any problems. Boy I sure do miss it!

I have a 77 flh, and a 96 softail stripped down with fatboy tins. I will only ride with ape's too, by the way. As far as suggestions, the comment about being sunjective is correct. Body size, experience have alot to do with it, however the best peice of advice i can give is dont get a sportster. You will regret it later on.

I thought about a Sportster....decided against it...and for a first bike I didnt want to drop the coin for a Road King, Electra, Road Glides, etc.
I am going to add a few accessories this upcoming year to my bike now for some longer rides. Happy with it so far. Honda '07 VTX 1300.
Still thinking I want a Harley though.....
Good luck in you decision!
