Fishing Calendar 2012

Last year someone posted a calendar that high-lited the better days for fishing.
Could they do it again for this year.

Thanks.

My calender is easy. Fishing all weekend from May 1st through Mid November. The best days are when i am fishing the 5 in between weekends suck.

Everything is better on the rocks.

Is it like the solunar tables in Field and Stream? They suggest the two peak activity times each day as well. Dad and I always used to look at those and if we were fishing we would get through the slow periods by reminding ourselves that the "peak time" was approaching...

no that's based on a totally different system
mine is based on astro-moon positioning

taken: from the moon sign book
it sets my schedule for the entire year

designated Libra via your sun sign when born

this is based on the "moon" sign...
specifically when the moon is in the fertile signs
of earth, and water signs are even better...

Thanks Raven, might you post as a downloadable pdf or jpeg? I'm sure everyone wants to make an 8x10 framed picture for their wall or even a laminated copy for their wallet.

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Joe,
this same calendar also correlates to the most fertile times
to plant everything... before the full moon- above ground crops
after the full moon- root crops or transplanting.

I proved that it worked growing veggies commercially
then discovered fishing was insanely better on those same days and proved that to myself over many, many trips and trials.

i fish and plant by this calendar

In all seriousness... Wind ( direction).. moon phase, tide ,local conditions and a 40+ year old log book tell me where and when I'll fish....my formula has been working a long time..it would be tough to change it now... no doubt your calender has merit as it coinsides with alot of what I've based my habits on for years...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

the ancient civilizations knew about ALL this
and built elaborate stone alignment (sighting tools)
to help them measure day length, seasonal begins -dates ect.
and erected fertility phallic symbols everywhere to honor
the god of fertility... who was essentially.... the timing of
moon phases.
In many ways that ancient knowledge perished
as temples (library's) were burned and destroyed .

what if you're color blind? just fish the days that have lines underneath them right? yellow and purple would be good colors for the visually impaired.

my Dad was color blind
thus the pool table was a horrid orange!

so my nephew was too consequently
and as we are passing this house
that was defiantly painted purple and green
for lack of a variance....

i said to him (he was a painter then)
nice paint job eh? Andy?
he gives not a second thought
and quips "very nice"
