it depends on the condition. Could be $100 - $150.
Check Abebooks or bookfinder. I got a 1st. edition autographed by Post there a few years ago for like $125.

My favorite book ever. We make it mandatory winter reading for Vineyard rookies.
I bet I have read it cover to cover 20 times and I still love reading and learning from it.

Sauerkraut is mentioned in that book several times, and the father who was too excited during a blitz at Gay Head to notice his son being washed away is this guy .

Eddy, I think that book is Striper Wars (Sauerkraut is in that as well). Reading the Water is much more of a fun fishing story book about the glory years on the Vineyard.

I have a few hard copies, The best one I picked up was a signed copy in near perfect shape about 10 years ago for 125 bucks. Just a few months ago I bought one remarkable shape unsigned for 35 bucks, I could not believe it.
The best "signed" copy I have ever seen is Janet M's. Her copy has every chapter signed by every person the chapter is about (many with nice notes) as well as a nice note from Bob.

The other day Amazon had a first edition for just under $700. Amazing!
I have a first edition and wouldn't sell it for $700. Almost irreplaceable.

I will have to admit that the book "The Big One" is a pretty good read too...
