hi everybody, im new to this board, would like to know if anybody has fished the swampscott or marblehead harbor lately? I would like to know where i can find live mackeral to catch and use for striper fishing in this area. thanks billymack!!!!!!

First off, let me help out John R by welcoming you.

There have been good reports of macks from the Egg Rock area and around Marblehead Rock. I've also seen success being had by the jiggers under the Beverly bridge at the Lobstermens pier. All these were as late as last week. I was up north and therefore can't give you anything from the past two days. Let us here how you make out!
